‘PharmaSEE of Art. Two Suns’

Collaboration with Joanna Dudek, my sister, who is a painter and a visual artist. She created a cycle of works called Up-teka Sztuki/PharmaSEE of Art.

In her work, she voices concerns about the attitude towards medicines, their accesibility and popularity. Altering the chemistry of our bodies and states of mind is part of the daily routine for many of us. As much as lifegiving it might be, it creates a grey area for pharmaceutical companies to generate the sales. Ethically problematic, she refrains from judgement and simply shows those social phenomena under the magnifying glass.

I created sound textures to accompany 2 of the video arts, which were part of many exhibitions. You can watch
Two Suns here. The other one Nobody is Afraid of Red, Blue and Yellow, (which links Barnett Newman’s work) is only available to watch during the exhibition.
