‘Unbalanced‘ is a title to a work made in collaboration with dancer and choreographer Chander van Daatselaar.
Music has been composed electronically in Ableton using recycled samples I have composed and recorded in the past, as well as brand new combinations.
Inspired by the proccesses occuring inside of the brain, we devised parts of the performance to illustrate it. A group of 5 dancers had an opportunity to embody neurons, amygdala or motor cortex to name a few. The performance links science and art in abstract and imaginative way.
The realisation of work took place in Laban Theatre, Deptford, London in May 2022.
